Last week was surgery “hell week”. Like the navy seals I was Frog Man. 27 surgeries last week (including Saturday). End of year surgical sale!! 2 TTC fusions, 8-10 lapiplasty’s and the like, 1st to put in the brand new SPEED TMT in the COUNTRY, a new total ankle total talus from Paragon and a bunch of toes!! What a week. I need some rest!! Love the fact that we could help so many people!!

Severe diabetic foot infection with abscess up to the ankle. Does anyone still believe in doing proximal symes as a valid, limb, salvage procedure? We strive to help reduce the metabolic stress on the heart in which a science amputation would decrease it by two fold. Prosthetic still can help us create AFO bracing for this procedure..

We try to give the best chance to decrease metabolic use on the heart thus helping the patient ambulate and less stress on the heart!

Hardest surgery I think is revisional bunions after distal head procedures!! Crooked bone with severe rotation! Forget the guessing and how to cut or how much rotation. GIVE THEM THE I-BUNION. PSI patient specific cut guide and compressor. 100% accurate, and sooo many less steps and in this case her bone was soft hence the extra screw. But I did some MIS too just to appease people who don’t believe in Lapiplasty. Hahaha.

One of my favorite procedures to do since I was instrumental for podiatrists to harvest from the thigh in Ohio! But now with the addition of myriad morsels mixed with PRP I can get amazing healing in 7-10 days. I did apply a proven vac also! Happy healing to my surgeons!! ❤️
