Your body is an engine that depends on proper fuel to perform, recover, and stay healthy. Whether you’re lifting weights, running miles, or just staying active, your energy demands increase and so should your nutrition. When you don’t eat enough to support your training, here’s what can happen:
✅ Muscle breakdown instead of growth
✅ Increased fatigue + poor performance
✅ Hormonal disruptions
✅ Slower recovery times
❌ Higher risk of injuries like stress fractures, strains, and burnout
Consistent under-fueling = overuse + breakdown.
Fuel isn’t optional. Eat enough. Hydrate. Rest. Your body will thank you in strength, longevity, and resilience. And remember… if you’re starting to get into strength training- you can’t be in a calorie deficit and safely lift heavy and build muscle! You need to fuel muscle growth! If weight loss if your goal then your workouts need to fit a calorie deficit. That’s what understand what your goals are is so important!
