Ever wonder what can happen in a year of consistent strength training and eating right? One of our clients decided to build up some muscle and get serious about training. They first got their baseline values done at ! From that point they consistently trained with us, using the principles of progressive overload and kept challenging themselves to see what they could do in a year! Re-evaluation at less than one year later showed fat loss, muscle gain and improvement in bone density!!! How freaking cool is that?! This goes to show that you firstly, can’t trust the scale and the importance of getting strong, it literally improved every aspect of this human’s health! We know we’re inspired and hopefully so are you!

We know weights can be intimidating if you’ve never been a gym girlie, but just START SOMEWHERE! Even if that means using 10s…those quickly turn into 20s and now suddenly you’re adding plates to the barbell. There are so many incredible benefits to strength training, but setting yourself up for success in the future may be the most important one!

Happy May and happy monday!! This month we’re focusing on some running prep. Here we have running mans/men/man’s/people? It’s a great stability/balance exercise to ensure that stable foot stays put with the challenging movement, give it a try!
