Universal Machine provides custom equipment design and custom integration service to the majority of the top Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical, Food, and Industrial companies in the world. We have designed over 400 custom integrated systems over the last thirty years. By utilizing our 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility to its fullest, we have the capability of controlling all aspects of a project from start to finish with our in-house mechanical and electrical engineering departments, state-of-the-art fabrication and machine shops along with assembly and testing departments. Universal Machine Company has the experience and talent to design and build an innovative and cost productive solution for the most demanding problem. We will work with you to design the system from the beginning, handling every aspect of manufacturing and assembly. In addition, we can provide complete start-up supervision, operator training, and maintenance if desired. We also have the capability to rebuild, retrofit, and upgrade your existing equipment or we can build to your specifications. Universal Machine and Engineering Corp is adding additional electrical technicians.

Responsibilities will include:
• Build and wire custom industrial
control/power panels
• Build and wire custom automation
equipment - including installing
electrical sensor/devices, running
conduit/wireway and routing
sensor/control/power cables.
• Install, maintain and enhance
electrical systems
• Diagnose issues with electrical
systems and components
• Perform all work in a manner that
meets and follows electrical codes,
schematics, and standards
• Test/troubleshoot electrical systems
and components to ensure proper
functionality
• Preform preventative maintenance
on electrical systems and
components

Requirements
• Must have 5+ years’ experience
• Must be willing to occasionally travel locally and abroad
• Must have a strong understanding
of electrical control/power schematics
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Pay
Starting rate $31.83 - $33.66 / hr
Time and a half - after 8hrs per day and on Saturdays
Double time on Sundays
Additional $5/hr when working out of town

Electrical Controls Engineer/Programmer
Mechanical Engineer / Machine Designer
Machine Technician/Assembler

Candidates must be able to commute daily to our site in Stowe PA. These are not remote positions.
