Anytime I post something like this, there’s always people commenting that they’ve never had money and they’re happy, or that they have had a lot of money and it didn’t make them happy. I feel like we’re talking about two different things.
I’m not talking about living paycheck to paycheck but still able to afford a happy, modest life. I’m talking about just having enough money to survive without having to make decisions between getting healthcare/medications, buying groceries, and having a place to live. Just the stress relief of not having to make these kinds of choices would bring happiness because you aren’t having to juggle paying for basic necessities that just keep getting more and more expensive.
