Are you pregnant and having pain below your belly?

Your p***c bone can be a major culprit of pain during pregnancy due to -
⬆️ increase in motion while the pelvis expands
⬆️ increase in weight on the muscles/ligaments that attach here
⬆️ postural changes
⬆️ fixed positioning while trying to adapt and support

Did you know this is not one “bone”, it is a joint made up of two p***c tubercles. These are fused together by the p***c symphysis.

Relaxin hormone allows this area to become more mobile to make room for baby to pass through during delivery - however, relaxin doesn’t differentiate labor from pregnancy.

The good news! Chiropractic can help. We are Webster Certified which is a technique used to assess and treat joints, muscles, and ligaments under pressure during pregnancy.
