Nazanin Khorasani is currently working towards her PhD in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at Kent State University. She holds a Masterâs degree in Career Counseling and a Bachelorâs degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Isfahan in Iran.
Nazanin approaches counseling from a person-centered, compassion-focused perspective, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly heard, respected, and empowered to pursue meaningful change.
She enjoys working with children, adults, and parents, helping them deepen their understanding of their emotions, relationships, and core values. Through a warm, collaborative approach, Nazanin supports clients in healing, reconnecting with what matters most to them, and building intentional, fulfilling paths forward. Her work with parentsâ centers on cultivating responsive, mindful parenting practices.
With a deep sense of cultural sensitivity and a genuine dedication to each clientâs well-being, Nazanin walks alongside them with empathy and respect on their journey toward growth and self-discovery.
