PhysioFit wasn’t born because I had some crazy drive and desire to be a small business owner and to hustle hard. It was because a team of cheerleaders- my friends and family- encouraged me to take a leap of faith to learn, give, and achieve more than I already was. I was content with my job and lifestyle at that time both mentally, emotionally, and financially but regardless, I decided to listen to them and take that “leap” in May of 2023. To me, it was a world of the complete unknown- literally I had zero knowledge of wtf I was doing. The support from King Middleton and said cheerleaders provided me with enough belief in myself that I left that comfy place (literally- have you seen that condo in Aurora 😍) and I entered my current life of small businesshood in Ohiofornia (that’s uber western Cle for those of you who don’t know). I (maybe) had a mini mental breakdown that fall, many doubts in my skills, and many what-the-f*ck-am-I-doings, but somehow with that continued support I ended up where I am today with even MORE support, love, and belief in me that I could have never fathom existed from you AND myself.

And f*ck it feels good.

There’s only so much you can do while driving and pain sets in if you aren’t willing to get out of the car and do some (more helpful) moves


Try this one out- it’s actually one of my go-to movements when my hip pain sets in. Then, when you get to your destination, depending where it is, lie on the floor with knees bent and try it. Or you know what, try it at your destination regardless. In a restaurant? Do it at the hostess stand. Be a rebel. At church? Do it on the pew, I bet the big guy upstairs wants you feeling your best. Give your hips some love and make them feel wherever you are


You deserve it.

One of my clients told me he pulled out his back when shoveling so it led me to making this video
 hope it helps someone prevent hurting themselves. But obviously this isn’t medical advice 😉

1- face the shovel and spend majority of time pushing forward as if you’re pushing a stroller. You’ll be more likely to avoid twisting and extending especially when you’ve fatigued out. đŸȘ

2) there may be nooks and crannies that you have to get which prevents you from being positioned like in #1 and that’s ok, do a small side sweeping motion with a wide base and then return to front facing when you can. You don’t need perfect mechanics all the time. đŸ§č

3) snoop was right all along. Drop it like it’s not five million below zero and bend your hips and knees when you have to scoop, reach, etc. It’ll take muscle strain away from your back and put in in your lower body. đŸ”„

4) when lifting from a bent position, use your legs to lift up. Now listen here- I just made this up today: when you’re throwing the snow off the shovel, instead of twisting and extending your body, use your one arm to slide the shovel shaft outward through a lessened grip in your other hand and then use arm power to rotate the shovel. Use your tools wisely. đŸȘ

5) use your legs to push the snow: if you’ve got a heavy load of snow on the shovel, push the it forward with your leg to get the snow off and tilt the shovel to guide the snow. Work smarter, not harder. It may be a little messier but whatever. đŸŠ”đŸ»

6)zip it up on the effort: when you initiate a push, press, lift, etc. 🍑
