CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME
FACT OR MYTH?
I got a new client recently who was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. I worked on her hand and wrist just as I do for everybody else, but I spent extra time on her rotator cuff muscles and the pain was gone!
I got several clients with the same result previously, carpal tunnel pain disappeared once the tightness in their shoulder muscles was released.
So, are all these people misdiagnosed, or is a carpal tunnel a myth?
None of my clients with this issue got actual problem in their wrists, and in 25 years working as a massage therapist, it was over 100 clients.
I would love to see some research about this medical condition!
