Heartfelt Words from Scarlett Corso’s Family

Brittany and Andrew Corso share:
“Our daughter Scarlett has been thriving with Wings to Fly Dance Company for four amazing years. Scarlett uses a wheelchair or walker due to her disability, but nothing stops her from dancing with pure joy, grace, and unstoppable determination.
Recently, we traveled to Orlando to meet Isabella Ortiz, a talented young dancer who also uses a wheelchair for mobility. Isabella is the same age as Scarlett, and the instant connection between them—and between us parents—has been truly special. These friendships go beyond the dance floor.
Together, Scarlett and Isabella will share the stage in our upcoming show UNITY on April 26, 2026, at the stunning Lyric Theatre in Stuart, Florida. Seeing these two inspiring dancers prepare and bond reminds us all: dance unites us, no matter our abilities.”

The performances of Wings to Fly Dance Company have become legendary, captivating audiences with the passion, energy, and sincerity of each performer. Through a seamless and distinctive dance vocabulary rich in artistic excellence, the company delivers work that is both powerful and deeply moving. Inspired by life experiences, cultural as well as spiritual influences; artistic directors Tasha, Tena, and Tara craft performances that leave a lasting impression.
Their newest production, Unity, reveals the art of coming together - of hearts, bodies, and spirits moving as one. It is the joining of individual points into a radiant whole, flowing in harmony with the world around us. On the dance floor, space is held for hope, connection, and understanding, allowing each gesture and step to bridge divides. Life may present opposing thoughts, beliefs, and cultures, yet through movement we find peace within ourselves and let that love ripple outward. In every leap, turn, and sway, Unity celebrates connection—lifting one another, embracing our differences, and soaring together toward a world shaped by purpose and belonging.
Founded as a nonprofit organization in 2016, Wings to Fly Dance Company brings this vision to life as a fully inclusive company that shines with the scale and excitement of a Broadway stage.
