Did you know that memories get stored in our body? Did you know that emotions such as fear, grief, anger, anxiety, etc. get stored in our body? Yes, every fiber and cell of our fascial layer, muscle, and even down to the bone become imprinted by experiences we’ve had throughout our life. Having an emotional release during an integrative bodywork session is normal, as a lot of these imprints within the body are being moved around and flushed out. Feeling tired after a session is also a normal response as our nervous system may need ample time and space to process changes and recalibrate back into a state of equilibrium ⚖️
