As a lifelong "New Englander" this is where my heart is and where each one of our products is crafted. New England is not only a collection of six states, it's a collection of varied culture, weather (wild and crazy sometimes), history, vistas, and people. Every jar or bottle is inspired by an experience or special place here, from cranberry bogs on Cape Cod to an organic chocolate maker in gorgeous Vermont. My wish is for you to feel the love and passion that is in every bottle and jar so you feel more confident and beautiful and enjoy a little bit of the place I call home.
My lovely, Mom, taught me to take care of my skin when I was a teenager by creating our own “DIY” facials. I have fun memories of leaning over a pot of steaming water to open our pores, then slathering on egg whites to use as a tightening and cleansing mask. I can’t imagine putting my hands in raw egg whites now but it worked back then and it taught me to pay attention to my skin. She also taught me to limit my time in the sun but I was more focused on getting a golden tan and now I have the sunspots to remind me to put on sunscreen!
WHERE WE’VE BEEN AND WHERE WE ARE GOING
Since making that first jar of scrub I knew I wanted to serve the spa market. Custom blending, creating innovating seasonal and signature treatments for nail and body services are my specialty. My creative juices flow but more importantly the collaboration with spa professionals so their clients have the best experience is extremely rewarding and important. I am very grateful to have worked with and continue to work with some of the best people in the business and at the most fabulous and beautiful spas! True to the spirit of celebrating the beauty and seasons we have in our neck of woods, each collection is filled with ingredients that nourish the skin, provide hydration, envelope you in luxury and have rich, delicious, aromatic scents. I leave out parabens, phthalates, sulfates and many other synthetics. Unrefined shea butter that sinks into skin to hydrate and protect against our dry indoor air along with omega rich oils and gentle botanical extracts fill up the lotions, oils, butters, scrubs and professional spa products so you can enjoy and feel your very best.
