For all of my Pokemon fans I will be at Excalibur Brewing on Saturday, April 12th (12pm-7pm) for this playful Pokemon event. Hey everybody! We have been very busy in our world of Alchemy so I have not done a good job of posting our events. So I wanted to let you know that we will be at the Cauldron of Curiosities Halloween Market hosted by Indigo Moons and Layers of Interconnection (see photos for location info) on Sunday evening. I’ll also be doing herbal readings so be sure to stop by!!

Today is going to be super busy!! We had our business meeting this morning planning out our day of pouring and packaging oils and teas and packing crystals and deciding on the lay out of the booths. Yep, plural. We’ll be having two tents at The Purple Ravens Misfit Market tomorrow!! The Queens will be making their debut as well as our new Holy Basil blend. It’s sure to be an energy filled day!!

The Crystal Herbal Alchemy team (aka the Family) has been having lots of conversations about this!! We will each be sporting neck fans, all of the salves are going to be kept in a cooler so they won’t melt, and we are going to be displaying the glass etched spheres in a covered box so that the sun reflecting through them doesn’t set anything in fire, and please keep in mind, the crystals will be very hot to the touch. Even with the heat, we are beyond excited to be at The Purple Ravens tomorrow.

With temperatures soaring, we want to ensure your well-being during the upcoming event. Here are some vital tips to stay safe and beat the heat:

~Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after the event. Dehydration is a real concern in hot weather.

~Dress Wisely: Opt for lightweight, loose-fitting clothing and a wide-brimmed hat to shield yourself from the sun.

~Sunscreen Shield: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

~Seek Shade: Take breaks in shaded areas to give your body a chance to cool down. Don't push yourself too hard.

~Listen to Your Body: If you experience dizziness, nausea, or excessive sweating, move to a cooler place and rest.
