If you are considering the KX2 Flexible Foot Lift, please read this terrific feedback from a recent customer:

“WOW I can’t begin to express how impressed I am with the KX2 brace! I have CMT which is a hereditary neurological disease that affects the feet & hands. I had chemo 5 years ago & it drastically affected the foot drop requiring me to have wear a brace on both feet full time. At that time I was fitted with a hard AFO which inserted into my shoe. They were expensive, hard, uncomfortable, hard to find shoes they would fit in, hot & if they break which they did, they are not repairable. I recently saw a new neurologist & he immediately said I can fit you with a better brace which is much more comfortable. When I walked out of the doctors office my husband immediately thought I had been healed because I walked so much better with the new brace. Because of the spring on the KX2 brace, it gives me back the flexibility in my ankle that I did not have with the AFO. They are comfortable & most importantly they lift my foot to prevent me from falling. I have already purchased new shoes that I had not been able to wear in years. We've received a lot of kind words from customers over the past year (since our last post!) and thought this email was worth sharing, with permission:

"I have been using the KX2 Flexible Foot Lift for 9 months and it has helped greatly with my foot drop issues. It keeps my toes lifted enough so I don't catch my toes on the ground causing me to trip while I am walking. I do not seem to be as tired after walking distances. I am not constantly fighting with my toes to keep them from dragging the ground.

It is a simple cuff that attaches easily with a spring attachment. It can be used with the eyelet holes or a a strap to be used with other shoes.

I like the fact that the ankle cuff does not slide into my shoe or hinder the natural movement of my ankle. The idea of a hard plastic piece being slid into my shoe and possibly having to buy 2 different shoe sizes was an issue I wasn't looking forward to.

My ankle is still flexible so that I have the natural movement while walking.

I am very pleased with my purchase and the help you have given me. "

"I can tell the largest difference in my knees and legs. I know that unless you walk toe to heal instead of the normal heal to toe you probably will not understand this. But the normal walking muscles are being used and feels so good not to be stomping my toes or losing balance. I can even mini jog, something I haven't been able to do in 20 years. I'm sure as time goes on there will be better things to come. I'm totally excited. Plus they are so comfortable! The best investment my husband could have suggested."

Our foot drop brace has 2 unique spring straps that adjust easily to keep the foot straight and ankle flexing while walking. Leg muscles get use too. It also has a comfortable cuff for all day wear. It is easy to adjust too in case of leg swelling

“I was hobbling around in a giant bulky leg brace and in a wheel chair and I cried when the Foot Lift was put on me because that day I walked almost normally. I have a foot drop that was caused by a stroke I had last year that affected my left side mobility. Thankfully it’s a temporary condition and using the KX2 device has helped me build back muscle in my leg and walk normally and enjoy being out in public without feeling embarrassed like I did in the big bulky AFO that was given to me when I was hospitalized. The stroke I had was extremely rare since it was caused by an AVM rupture in the right side of my brain. I was 19 when it happened. I love using the KX2 device because it’s helping me progress in my recovery while I'm not working on my foot without the brace. It’s actually helped me take the first steps to run again which is major since I used to do charity marathons.
