Incredibly lucky to have Support SEMS on our side! Their fundraising and grant writing efforts continue to provide us with state of the art equipment to utilize in our community! Blessed is an understatement!
🚑 Big News for Support SEMS! 🚑
On November 24, 2025, we received the exciting news that Support SEMS has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Guernsey Charitable Foundation to support our $53,832 Safe Transport and Accurate Dosing Project.
This project will allow us to purchase two critical pieces of equipment for one of our ambulances:
🔹 Stryker Power-Pro 2 Cot – Designed to safely lift and transport patients weighing over 500 lbs, improving safety for both patients and EMS providers.
🔹 One Weight, One Dose System – This system provides an accurate patient weight, helping ensure precise medication dosing during high-stress emergencies when every second counts.
Together, these tools will help us deliver safer, more efficient emergency care in our rural communities.
The remaining project balance will be covered through community fundraiser funds, and we are so grateful for the continued support that makes improvements like this possible.
