Join us later this month at our second annual State of Healthcare event, presented by Duke Energy, to hear from our esteemed panelist, Dr. Loreli Munford!

Dr. Loreli Munford is a native of Washington, DC. She obtained her B.S. in Microbiology from Howard University, and subsequently earned her M.D from Wayne State University, in collaboration with University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed a combined residency in both specialties of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, with special interest in Women's Health from the Medical College of Virginia. She furthered her medical aspirations by completing a fellowship in Emergency/Urgent Care Medicine with a special interest and concentration in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Illinois, where she also served as Associate Professor of Medicine. She is board certified, medically published, and active in numerous medical organizations. She has also obtained a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Management. Her passion is to make a difference in the lives of those God places in her path to positively impact both their spiritual, physical health and medical outcomes.

Dr. Loreli Munford is also a licensed Evangelist in the Ministry of Christ and has served in this capacity since 2007. She has been actively engaged in community churches in Health Ministry leadership for greater than 10 years. She has served on the Board of Directors, as well as President of several community-based organizations in Sumter since 2006.
