Happy May from West Valley Nurses Club. Looking forward to our May 15th meeting . Reminder that we will be collecting for our Non Profit; PACH which is Phoenix Allies for Community Health. This organization provides medical assistance to people without health insurance. We will also be honoring a Scholarship to a Nursing Student. 💜💜

Happy Sunday and Happy Spring from the West Valley Nurses Club. We had a wonderful April Meeting; always a joy to gather with Friends and Colleagues. We always have many stories to share. We had great speakers from Donor Network of Arizona. It was so informative and inspiring. They cover more than 130 hospitals in Arizona; collaborating with ERs and ICUS. I am sharing a few of their slides. Our May meeting; which is the last until October will be “Addressing the Mental Health Crisis “. Happy Spring to everyone from the West Valley Nurses Club. As always we had wonderful March meeting filled with Friendship and Laughter. Always so good to meet with Nurse Friends. Today we welcomed our Speakers/Panel from Ovarian Research Alliance. Our speakers were Rachel, Jan and Irene who shared their clinical and emotional journeys through this disease as well as providing educational information. Their educational piece was Survivors Teaching Students. It was heartwarming; one of the panel members was a RN. We have two more meetings before summer break; please join us.
We will be raffling a beautiful quilt made by one of our Nurses and we’ll be collecting for our Non Profit Phoenix Alliance for Community Health.
Our next meeting is April 17th. I’ll be sending more information in about a week with further information.

Another great meeting of our club last Friday. We have many colleagues/friendships; always enjoying each other’s company. We welcomed new members and other guests. Thank you to Sandi Evans who was to be our new President; however she has made the decision to bow out at this time. She will remain a member of our West Valley Nurses Club. Irma Stewart has now stepped into the role of President and we will be seeking a new VP. Welcome to Irma..
Our guest speaker Ellen Poole who spoke to
“Nothing New Under the Sun; One Nurse’s Perspective “. This was a very interesting presentation as Ellen spoke to the history in our country as it relates to Nursing/Health Care.

Good morning Friends; here we are in another New Year; 2026. We had a most wonderful January West Valley Nurses Club Meeting. We welcomed our New President Sandi Evans as we bid a fond farewell to our Dear Friend Jan Joransen who was a great President/ Leader in our organization. We swore in our new board; introduced past Presidents and welcomed new members. Great speaker Amy Johnson who presented Nursing Education today. As always enjoying so many Friendships..
