Another great meeting of our club last Friday. We have many colleagues/friendships; always enjoying each other’s company. We welcomed new members and other guests. Thank you to Sandi Evans who was to be our new President; however she has made the decision to bow out at this time. She will remain a member of our West Valley Nurses Club. Irma Stewart has now stepped into the role of President and we will be seeking a new VP. Welcome to Irma..
Our guest speaker Ellen Poole who spoke to
“Nothing New Under the Sun; One Nurse’s Perspective “. This was a very interesting presentation as Ellen spoke to the history in our country as it relates to Nursing/Health Care.
We will be meeting on March 20th; if interested in joining us please don’t hesitate to message me. We have a wonderful club, come join us.

Good morning Friends; here we are in another New Year; 2026. We had a most wonderful January West Valley Nurses Club Meeting. We welcomed our New President Sandi Evans as we bid a fond farewell to our Dear Friend Jan Joransen who was a great President/ Leader in our organization. We swore in our new board; introduced past Presidents and welcomed new members. Great speaker Amy Johnson who presented Nursing Education today. As always enjoying so many Friendships..

Happy New Year’s Eve from the West Valley Nurses Club. We had a most wonderful December meeting. Santa joined the fun; took many photos with our members and included the staff at Briarwood. We are happy to announce our new President who will begin in January. Congratulations to Sandi Evans; she is in the photo with Jan. Our new VP is Irma Stewart. We had some great raffles; our Nurse quilt donated by Kerry Grant was won by Linda Rice. Kelly Simpson donated a soap basket which we raffled and was won by Teresa Spinosa. We also presented our Nursing Scholarship to Lydia Lospar from Estrella Mtn Community College. We also made our donation to the Non Profit Phx Allies for Community Health. And we had a lovely program by Harpist Angelique Morgan. All in all a great meeting..Come join us in January.
