An Orthodontic Emergency Part 2!
Remember to take good care of your retainers. There are many rules to follow when taking care of your retainer but here are my top 3:
1) if the retainer is not in your mouth then keep it in your retainer case and avoid putting it in a paper towel or in your pockets or else it will get thrown away or the retainers will be destroyed during laundry.
2) keep the retainers away from dogs and cats because they love to play with the retainers.
3) do not boil it with hot water to clean it or the retainer can get warped!
There are many more retainer instructions so be sure to ask your orthodontist if you are unclear about anything!
