“My doctor ran labs and some of my results were outside the reference range. Can a Wellness Data Consultation still help?”

Many people receive lab results but aren’t always sure how to interpret them in relation to symptoms like fatigue, digestive discomfort, poor sleep, or feeling generally “off.”

In a Wellness Data Consultation, we review your results together and explore patterns that may relate to things like nutrient status, inflammation signaling, stress physiology, and metabolic health.

We also look at symptoms, lifestyle factors, and health history alongside the lab data.

The goal isn’t to diagnose or replace medical care.

It’s to help you better understand what your results may be signaling and what supportive strategies may be worth exploring.

Curious if a Wellness Data Consultation could help you make sense of your results?

Histamine reactions can be surprisingly individual.

Two people can eat the same food and have completely different experiences.

That’s because the body’s response depends on many factors, including:
• gut health• nutrient status• stress levels• enzyme activity• overall inflammation load

Health is rarely one-size-fits-all.

Understanding your body’s patterns can be incredibly empowering.
Have you ever noticed certain foods affect how you feel later?

I used to think histamine only caused allergies.

Then I learned how many systems in the body it actually influences.

It can influence things like:
• nervous system communication• digestion• immune responses• sleep cycles

Because histamine interacts with several systems, patterns like these can sometimes appear together:
• anxiety• headaches• digestive discomfort• skin flushing• poor sleep

For some people, patterns related to how the body processes histamine may help explain symptoms that otherwise feel confusing.

That’s why exploring physiology can be so helpful.

When we understand how the body’s systems interact, symptoms often begin to make more sense.

If this feels familiar, feel free to DM me. I’m happy to share a resource that may help.

Many conversations about histamine focus on foods to avoid.

But certain foods may help support the body’s natural histamine processing pathways.

In this month’s newsletter I’m sharing a simple guide that highlights 3 foods and nutrients that may support histamine balance.

Histamine actually plays important roles in the body.

It helps regulate:
• immune responses
• stomach acid production
• nervous system communication
• circadian rhythm

The goal isn’t to eliminate histamine.

The goal is supporting the body’s ability to balance it effectively.

Think of histamine like a messenger.

When messages build up faster than the body can process them, symptoms can appear.

Sometimes the work is less about removing foods forever and more about supporting the systems that process histamine.

Comment “AHA” if this changed how you think about this.

For a long time, I thought feeling tired, anxious, and uncomfortable in my body was just normal.

One thing I’ve learned through studying nutrition and working with clients is this:

Symptoms are rarely random.

The body is constantly communicating.

For a long time, I personally struggled with patterns like fatigue, anxiety, digestive discomfort, and skin issues, while being told everything looked fine and that I was otherwise healthy.

And in many ways, that was reassuring.

But it also left me wondering if I was supposed to accept these things as part of who I was, or simply part of getting older.

What fascinated me as I continued studying nutrition and physiology was discovering how often these patterns were connected to underlying biology — things like nutrient pathways, inflammation signaling, food sensitivities, or how the body processes stress.

That realization changed how I began looking at symptoms.

Instead of seeing them as random annoyances, I started to see them as clues about what the body might be asking for support with.

That perspective is what eventually led me to the work I do today.

Helping people move from:

“I guess this is just how I feel.”
to
“Now I understand what my body may be trying to tell me.”

Wondering what your body may be trying to tell you?

When clients come to me with symptoms like anxiety, skin issues, digestive discomfort, or sleep challenges, we rarely jump straight to solutions.

Instead we explore patterns in their biology.

This might include looking at:
• food sensitivities (MRT testing)
• nutrient metabolism pathways
• genetic patterns that influence inflammation signaling
• stress physiology
• digestive function

Often it’s not one single factor.

It’s how several systems interact together.

When you start looking at the body through that lens, symptoms begin to make a lot more sense.

Many people assume that if histamine is involved, the only option is OTC or prescription antihistamines.
And those medications can absolutely help relieve symptoms.
But histamine regulation in the body is more complex than simply blocking it.
The body is constantly producing and breaking down histamine.
Two enzymes involved in clearing histamine include DAO and HNMT.
For some individuals, genetic variations may influence how efficiently these pathways function. When histamine isn’t processed efficiently, it may temporarily build up and contribute to patterns like headaches, flushing, digestive discomfort, anxiety, or sleep disruption.
Understanding these biological pathways can sometimes help people make more sense of symptoms that otherwise feel confusing.

Follow for more insights like this.
