Lassen County Special Olympics Special Olympics provides athletic opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, instilling the confidence they need to succeed.

Lassen County Special Olympics participates in sports throughout the year. Our athletes compete in Basketball, Track & Field, Softball and Bowling. Who can participate? Special Olympics is open to every person with an intellectual disability, regardless of the level or degree of that person’s disability and whether or not that person also has other mental or physical disabilities. Athletes must be
