Sussex County CLEAR Program

Sussex County CLEAR Program The Sussex County C.L.E.A.R. Program offers free recovery coaching, improved access to treatment, and family support for people with addiction.

Community Law Enforcement Addiction Recovery

Bridging the gap between addiction and recovery, law enforcement and the recovery community, The Sussex County C.L.E.A.R. Program offers community members seeking help for substance use disorder the opportunity to walk into a participating police department to start their journey to recovery by getting paired with a trained Recovery Coach. Our mission is to form a collaborative network of professionals in our community who will facilitate medical intervention, improved access to treatment and recovery support for those struggling with drug addiction who seek assistance, without fear of arrest or prosecution, in order to make a positive difference in the quality of life for individuals, families and our entire community. The Sussex County CLEAR Program is managed by the Center for Prevention & Counseling, Inc.

On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of Indigenous peoples.

We celebrate the vast contributions of Indigenous communities and their traditions and knowledge that continue to enrich our world today.

We also recognize the ongoing impacts of colonialism, historical trauma, and systemic inequities, which contribute to disparities in substance use rates and create barriers to treatment within Indigenous communities.

Take a moment today to learn about and honor the cultures of the people who first inhabited the land where you live. For example, Sussex County is the historical home of the Munsee Lenape people, who presently live in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada.

The Stanhope Fall Festival this past Saturday was an incredible success! 🍁✨

Tracy from The Center for Prevention & Counseling enjoyed connecting with community members and sharing important messages of hope, recovery, and support.

We’re so grateful to everyone who visited our OHH table—whether you stopped by to say hello, gather resources, or learn more about our programs. Building connections and offering support to those who need it most is what truly matters.

A heartfelt thank you to Stanhope School HSA for hosting such a wonderful event and giving us the chance to share resources, services, and programs!
