The season of giving thanks is upon us and what better way to celebrate than by thanking our volunteers! Our volunteers show up for us, entertain us, help us when needed, crochet with us, garden for us, play games with us, dance and sing for us, worship with us and the list goes on…and on..and on!! We are incredibly fortunate to have so many people who are so giving of their time and talents! (We missed those who couldn’t join us today!) So, in this season of giving thanks, we say THANK YOU to each and every one of you! 🫶🏻 🧡 🦃

👩‍🎨 🎨 This morning we had such a fun painting class with Heather, one of our most creative volunteers! She brings a new design to teach us every month and we always have a great time! Look at how talented our residents are! 👨‍🎨🖌️

Yesterday we took a trip to Cracker Barrel! Our residents got to enjoy some good food, friends and even a little shopping! It was a fun Friday!

🎃 🍭 Today was all TREATS at WGAL’s Trick or Treat Event! We had close to 100 family and community members stop by to see our residents and the smiles (and candy!) were endless!! Thank you to all of our Trick or Treaters! You made us very happy! 🖤 🧡

Today we said “see you later” to Bernadette from Bernadette has spent the last year ✨volunteering✨her time every Tuesday morning teaching exercise class. Our residents (and even some family members!) have absolutely loved her classes. She made exercise & movement, meaningful and fun for our crew! We are going to miss you, Bernadette! Thank you for everything you did for WGAL! 🥰
