🎃 🍭 Today was all TREATS at WGAL’s Trick or Treat Event! We had close to 100 family and community members stop by to see our residents and the smiles (and candy!) were endless!! Thank you to all of our Trick or Treaters! You made us very happy! 🖤 🧡

Today we said “see you later” to Bernadette from Bernadette has spent the last year ✨volunteering✨her time every Tuesday morning teaching exercise class. Our residents (and even some family members!) have absolutely loved her classes. She made exercise & movement, meaningful and fun for our crew! We are going to miss you, Bernadette! Thank you for everything you did for WGAL! 🥰

As another week comes to a close at WGAL, we wanted to take a minute to highlight all of the fun we had last week during our National Assisted Living Week celebration! Let’s try this post again! 🖤 🐩 🩷 🎵 Woolwich Gardens is ready to “hop” into summer! Sock Hop that is! What a day we had! From the decorations and the food, to the dancing and the staff, to the costumes and the most wonderful DJ (who was a VOLUNTEER! 🫶🏻) it was a beautiful day at Woolwich Gardens! 🐊 Celebrated National Alligator Day today by taking this week’s virtual trip to the Florida Everglades! And what is a trip without food?! That’s right, an alligator cupcake display made by our Chef for the win! 🐊

For this month’s “Woolwich Gardens Gives Back” we made care packages for some of the Veterans in Gloucester County. Each care package contains a variety of items but the highlight for us, would be the coveted BINGO prizes that our residents won and then so willingly and lovingly donated. 🥰 The bags will be delivered tomorrow morning to the Gloucester County Veteran Affairs Office. Although this is just a small token of our appreciation for their service, we hope they enjoy what our residents put together! ❤️🤍💙
