One of my favorite things to do when I'm on a road trip is search for Geocaches. Over the years, I've found hundreds of them all over the country, and they've led me to some fantastic places that I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

If you spot me on the road, this decal has a code on the bottom. Jot it down and log your find at geocaching.com! If you have a photo to share (don't show the code), that's even better!

We're only 55 days away from launch and can't wait to meet and share the stories of so many amazing people and places!!

Here's the latest protective addition — the Touratechch Clear Headlight Protector. The OEM light is ridiculously expensive to replace, and I'm happy with this addition.

My biggest gripe is that it takes six different tools for the install — a T25 and T30 Torx to remove the factory screws, and a 10 mm wrench for the nut behind the T30. The new hardware requires a 3mm and 4mm allen wrench, and a 7/16 wrench for the mounting hardware on the lens.

It's bike specific,so why not make them T25, T30 and 10mm?

Aside from the tool requirements I really like the fit, finish and appearance!!

Leave a comment below and let me know what you think!

When it's cold and snowy out why not make some accessory install videos?

Here are my initial thoughts on the Touratech clear headlamp guard, including the good, and a couple of minor gripes :) Check it out here: https://touratech-...

According to legend, Evil Road Spirits have been latching themselves on to motorcycles for as long as there have been bikes on the road. These Evil Road Spirits are responsible for mechanical problems and bad luck along a journey.
Legend also asserts that by attaching a small bell onto your bike, the Evil Road Spirits will become trapped inside the sound, where the constant ringing drives them insane, making them lose their grip until they fall to the ground. (Ever wonder where potholes come from?)

Legend also has it that the mystery of the Guardian Bell carries twice as much power when it is purchased by a friend or loved one and given as a gift.

I've been gifted two: a gremlin and one made from two Utah state quarters.

When winter takes a break, I have to take advantage of it! Just under 100 miles of riding to Antelope Island State Park in Utah. Roaming bison, lots of birds, deer and, of course, antelope!

The weather was great for a ride today! Just shy of 100 miles to Antelope Island State Park. Lots of roaming Bison and bird species to observe. One of my favorite places to take an afternoon ride!!

The Why

Legends of the Lower 48 is a project I have been visualizing for several years. Until recently, this project did not have a name nor a definitive goal. All I knew is that I wanted to ride my motorcycle around the country and couple it with a meaningful project.

In 2004 my older brother was in complete renal failure and required a kidney. Fortunately, I was a perfect match and was prepared to donate my left kidney and give him a life outside of the dialysis he needed to endure several times per week.

After recuperating from surgery, I had a new outlook on where I wanted my life to go and embodied the mantra of Adventure!

I became a professional skydiver and private pilot, filming and photographing clients flying through the air at 120 MPH, 13,000 feet above the ground. As a skydiving instructor, I accumulated over 2,800 skydives. I celebrated with countless kids entering adulthood on their 18th birthday and helped many terminal patients fulfill their final wishes.
