At MoonRise we offer equine psychotherapy along with other therapeutic and educational equine activities. All ages can enjoy and benefit from playing with horses and we can adapt the experience to meet your needs and goals. Our overall hope is to increase awareness and connection with not only the horse but also one's self, others and our earth! We work with individuals, groups, schools, families and community mental health organizations to provide an individualized educational, therapeutic and recreational experience. MoonRiseFarm is home to MoonRise Therapeutics, inc. (MRT). MoonRise Farm and MRT provide a nurturing environment coupled with clinical expertise and equine experiences where individuals and families can receive personalized support and counseling to deepen self-understanding, work through obstacles, and grow resilience. The main goal of MRT at the Farm is to address mental health issues related to trauma, anxiety and depression. Equine therapy offers children, adults and families the chance to enjoy and benefit from playing with horses while working on the following skills; emotional awareness, impulse control, social-emotional, confidence, trust and empathy, and problem solving. In a non-judgemental and safe place, MRT’s goal is to increase awareness and connection with not only the horse but also one's self, others and our earth! We work with individuals, groups, schools, families and community mental health organizations to provide an individualized educational, therapeutic and recreational experience.
