Hola lovelies!!!! Tis the season of coughs colds and the nasties....thought I'd post a few recipes for body wellness to keep the crusties at bay🧹

Anti Inflammatory Cough Syrup:
Mix Manuka honey, finely chopped/minced garlic and turmeric together in a jar and take a spoonful morning and night or as needed.

Also there's a ginger "concoction" that me and my mom have been making for years..a shot a day helps keep the immune system healthy and the cold/coughs at bay( my son didn't like the taste when he was younger so we gave it to him mixed with orange juice). This also assists with weight management.
Ginger "Concoction" Recipe:
Bring to Boil in a medium-large pot with lid covered:
Water(filled half way)
sliced ginger
lemon slices(3-4 whole lemons)
4 cloves
Allow to simmer for about 30-45 min, then take off heat. Strain liquid from solid contents.(I like to strain mine in a cheese cloth or some form of clean cloth to get all the good stuff out)
Let cool for about 15 min & add:
-honey(to your personal liking)
-1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar w/the mother
-1/2 tsp turmeric
- a pinch to 1/8tsp black pepper(to properly absorp turmeric)
-1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
Optional addition:
-1tbsp beet root powder......makes it sweeter and more tolerable
Place in large jar or container that can be refrigerated and take a shot or two daily.
Good for colds, coughs, flu, boosting immune system, inflammatory issues, gut health, and weight management
