Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s NABIP Capital Area Membership Meeting! Special thanks to Carol Taylor from CRC Group for delivering an insightful CE session on integrating ICHRA strategies into employer groups.

We had a great turnout and an engaging discussion that brought clarity to how ICHRAs can support employer benefits—and the key considerations that come with them.

We are honored to have Carol Taylor from BenefitMall, who will provide a 1-hour CE, which is an overview of integrating ICHRA Strategies Into Employer Groups. The one-hour course delves into the world of ICHRAs and how to best integrate those into group benefit offerings, as well as items that must be considered before entering into an ICHRA. We’ll also discuss how an ICHRA can be set up, what you can do, what you cannot do, and even delve into a case study.

We truly appreciate Carol making the trip to Tallahassee for our meeting and look forward to seeing everyone at Capital Health Plan on Metropolitan Blvd. Lunch will be provided.

A great couple of days packed full of speakers, networking with health industry leaders, and visiting with our legislators while attending the NABIP Florida 2025 Day on the Hill. We heard from:

- Mike Yaworsky, Florida’s Insurance Commissioner
- Alexis Bakofsky, Deputy Commissioner for Life & Health
- Greg Thomas, Director of Insurance Agent & Agency Services
- Senator Jason Brodeur (Senate President Pro Tempore, 2024 NABIP Florida Legislator of the Year)
- Ricky Carmichael (the GOAT) former professional motocross and supercross racer.

The CEO of UnitedHealth was fatally shot in the chest Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown in what police say was a targeted attack.
