this is why it is so important to work through and create a birth plan!

yes, birth is unpredictable, but the more you can think through all the possibilities ahead of time, the more calm you’ll be in the moment!

even with your birth plan, things may need to change once labor is progressing, and decisions will need to be made.

I want YOU to feel confident being the one making the choices - not your doctor, the healthcare system, hospital policy, or pressure from your friends and family.

started off the week by supporting and photographing a birth, then attended a provider fair for a local moms group where I got to meet so many local mothers and other professionals, then wrapped up the week with another new client consultation!

I’m feeling incredibly blessed and grateful🫶🏻

Waves, Surges, Contractions🌊

They all mean the same thing: the sensations you will experience while in labor.

🤍I like to refer to them as waves.🤍

They push in with intensity, then pull back giving you rest. Push in with strength, pull back with pause.🌙

Just like the waves bring the tide in over a series of pushes and pulls, each one of your waves (or contractions) brings your baby closer to meeting you!!

So visualize the crashing shore and ride the wave, mama!🌊
