Today’s Memorial Day luncheon was a beautiful tribute to the brave soldiers who gave their lives for our country. Between the moving moment of silence and the powerful soldier display, it was a wonderful reminder to keep our current and future troops in our thoughts and prayer 🇺🇸

Memorial Day carries deep meaning. Many of our residents lived through defining moments in our country’s history, served in uniform, or loved someone who did.

Taking time to pause, reflect, and share their stories honors not only those who gave their lives, but also the lived experiences and perspectives within our own halls.

We gather in gratitude for their courage and dedication, and in recognition that remembrance strengthens connection across generations. Their legacy and the freedoms they fought to preserve - will never be forgotten.

The breeze was perfect, the sun was out, 🌞 and our residents were ready to move! We moved our exercise session outdoors to enjoy the beautiful scenery while staying active. 🏋🏼‍♀️🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️It’s amazing how a change of scenery can brighten up a workout! There’s nothing like a little vitamin D to keep our residents moving and motivated ☀️

Our Mother’s Day celebration was nothing short of amazing. “Muffins for Moms," 💐 where the treats were absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. The fabulous Allyson provided a relaxing backdrop with the sweet sounds of her violin. 🎻 To top off the day, every lady received a thoughtful gift from our Dre as a reminder that they are truly beautiful and loved. 🪞 Happy Mother’s Day 💕💐

Our May Gastronaut combined perfect with Cinco de Mayo. We kicked things off with a live masterclass as Chef showed us the secrets to the perfect homemade guacamole 🥑 fresh, flavorful, and served up on delicious mini tacos 🌮 The party didn't stop there! Our DRE whipped up a batch of her famous margaritas 🍹and turned up the volume to get everyone moving. We even took a quick break from the dance floor for some "target practice" with a gigantic taco! What a Shell of a time!

🩺💛 Why do we love National Nurses Week? Because we want to thank our nurses for delivering expert clinical care and supporting whole-person wellbeing for residents every single day. Their presence brings comfort, stability, and confidence to our residents and those who love them.
