Interested in obtaining funding for research? Please consider applying for the Mark A. Berkley Undergraduate Research Award:

Mark A. Berkley Undergraduate Research Award

The Psychology Department is pleased to announce the Mark A. Berkley Undergraduate Research award, which is designed to provide funding to undergraduate students who are actively engaged in research in the department. These funds are to be used to support the student’s research activity. This includes the purchasing of supplies or equipment, the payment of research participants, and other similar expenses that may be incurred as part of the research process.

Applicants for this award should submit the following materials: 1) a brief overview of the student’s research project that describes the background, goals and methods of the study (no more than 3 pages), 2) a request for funds that specifies the amount of funding requested, and a breakdown of how the funds will be used (no more than 1 page), and 3) a letter of support from the student’s faculty advisor specifying how the project would be funded if the project is not selected for a Berkley award.

These application materials can be emailed to berkleyaward@psy.fsu.edu by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Welcome back students!!!

Drop/add week for fall 2021 begins TONIGHT at 12:01 a.m. and closes on Thursday, August 26th, at 11:59 p.m. This is your opportunity to add classes to your schedule or make any final adjustments to your schedule.

All psychology courses (except for EXP3202C, EXP3422C, EXP3604C, PSB3004C, DIS, Honors, Internship) will be available to all students at 12:01 a.m. tonight.

Interested in participating in the Psych. in London Program for summer 2019? There is still time to apply!

The deadline for International Programs Scholarship Application and for the $250 reduction in total cost by paying the $1,500 Commitment fee early is next Wednesday, December 5th. There are still seats available in the program, but it is filling up. Students who have not yet applied, but are interested in participating in the Summer 2019 Psychology in London program, should apply soon.
