Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) is hosting a virtual hiring fair for all Mental Health disciplines on Saturday, April 22, 2023 and we are seeking qualified, energetic candidates to join our team!
OVAHCS is a 1A complex facility serving all of Central Florida. We are one of the fastest growing VAs in the country, already serving over 135,000 Veterans. We have a 24/7 medical hospital in Lake Nona, large outpatient clinics in Lake Baldwin, Daytona, and Viera, and community-based outpatient clinics in Port Orange, Palm Bay, Deltona, Tavares, Clermont, and Kissimmee. Our Mental Health Department serves almost 40,000 Veterans and provides the entire continuum of care, to include a 40 bed Acute Psychiatry Unit and a 116 bed Domiciliary Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. Unless otherwise noted, all positions are considered telework eligible with the specific amount of time/days being negotiated with the supervisor of the program. However, none of these positions will be 100% virtual so we are looking for new employees who want to serve our Veterans both face-to-face and virtually in this dynamic new world! We are an energetic team dedicated to continuous performance improvement. We are heavily grounded in evidenced based practices.
