Today, We officially completed the AHEC of a Summer program — and what a journey it’s been! From hands-on experiences in healthcare to eye-opening workshops, we’ve grown, learned, and connected in ways I never imagined. 🩺💡

This summer wasn’t just about shadowing and studying — it was about finding purpose, exploring passion, and discovering just how much impact one person can make in their community.

👉 Latent fingerprints are invisible or barely visible prints left on a surface when the natural oils, sweat, and other residues from the skin are deposited. The word latent means hidden — these prints usually can’t be seen with the naked eye.

🌟 Why Are Latent Prints Important?

Latent fingerprints are crucial in:
🔹 Criminal investigations — linking suspects to crime scenes
🔹 Identity verification
🔹 Security and forensic science

Since every person’s fingerprints are unique (even identical twins!), latent prints can provide powerful evidence.
