You are not lazy. You are not crazy. đŸ€Ș
You might just be hormonally depleted.

Perimenopause can make you feel like a stranger in your own body. Poor sleep, anxiety, weight gain, brain fog, low motivation, mood swings
it is real, and it is not all in your head. đŸ€Ż

As hormones begin to shift, everything can feel harder. That is why trying harder is not always the answer.

The solution is not more self-blame.
The solution is better support.

That means:
looking at your hormones,
checking your thyroid,
supporting blood sugar,
building muscle,
eating enough protein,
improving sleep,
and helping your nervous system feel safe again.

When we identify the root cause and support the body properly, so many symptoms begin to improve.

You do not need to white-knuckle your way through perimenopause.

You need answers, support, and a plan. 📝

If you are in your 30s or 50s and suddenly gaining weight while doing “all the right things,” please hear this: it is not always about eating less. đŸ„—

For many women, the real issue is insulin resistance.

When insulin is elevated, your body is more likely to store fat and less likely to burn it efficiently. That is why midlife weight gain can feel so confusing. đŸ«€

You are trying harder, but your hormones are working against you. đŸ˜©

This often shows up as:
‱ stubborn belly fat
‱ sugar cravings
‱ fatigue after eating
‱ feeling hungry all the time
‱ weight gain even when you are eating less

Add in shifting estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and thyroid hormones, and it makes sense why your body feels so different in midlife. đŸ€Ż

This is exactly why shame does not work. Your body needs answers, not blame.

Send this to someone that needs to hear it!

Still waking up at 2 or 3 a.m.❓It may not be stress.

Stress gets blamed for everything. But for many women over 35, the hidden reason may actually be low progesterone.

Progesterone is a calming hormone that supports sleep, mood, and your nervous system. As it starts to decline in your mid-30s, you may notice more anxiety, more irritability, and more nights where you wake up at 2 or 3 a.m. and cannot fall back asleep. đŸ’€

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, that time of night is often associated with the body’s meridian clock, especially the Liver window, which can reflect internal stress and imbalance. đŸ€Ż

So yes, stress matters. But sometimes stress is not the true cause. Sometimes the deeper issue is that your hormones are no longer giving your body the support it needs.

If this sounds like you, your body may be asking for hormone support, not more self-blame.

Today, I celebrate not just being a doctor đŸ‘©đŸ»â€âš•ïž
but becoming who I was always meant to be.
For years, I lived as an Enneagram Type 3—
driven, achieving, always pushing.
But in that process, I often found myself stepping back
allowing others to shine while I stayed in my comfort zone.
Competing as Mrs. Vietnam Florida wasn’t about winning a crown. 👑
It was about breaking free from that pattern.

And during my reign as Queen,
I experienced something even more powerful - the importance of community.
That sense of belonging

of being surrounded by people who support, encourage, and grow together.

It changed me.

It reminded me that true health isn’t just physical, it’s emotional, mental, and deeply connected to the community we build around us.

That’s when my inner voice whispered the word “pivot”

Not away from medicine—
but into a greater purpose.

To create and serve a healthier community.
To share over 20 years of clinical experience.
And to help individuals navigate their own path to a healthier, more aligned life. 💕

Because you are the smartest doctor in your own body.
Listen to your inner voice.

I’m just here to guide and support you along the way. 😉

Burnout isn’t a failure. 😞
It’s your body asking for support.

When your system has been under stress for too long,
your hormones begin to shift. đŸ„ș

Cortisol rises.
Progesterone drops.
Sleep becomes disrupted.

And emotionally
 it can feel overwhelming. đŸ˜©

This isn’t something you fix by pushing harder. 😕

It’s something you heal by listening.

When you support your body at the root,
everything else begins to restore—naturally. đŸŒ±

03/27/2026

We talk about self-care like it’s spa days and time off. 😕

But sometimes
 it looks like this.

Making the appointment. đŸ—“ïž
Taking the time.
Checking in with your body—before something feels off.

For a long time, I was so focused on doing more, being more, pushing through
 đŸ„ș

That I didn’t always prioritize listening.

True self-care isn’t reactive.

It’s proactive.

It’s choosing to take care of yourself even when nothing seems “wrong.”

Because your health isn’t something you wait on.

It’s something you invest in. ✹

You’re not lazy

You’re depleted. đŸ„ș

We’ve normalized pushing through exhaustion,
ignoring the signs, and calling it discipline.

But brain fog, fatigue, and weight gain aren’t character flaws.

They’re signals.

Your body is asking for support - not more pressure. đŸ€Ż

When you start listening instead of pushing

everything begins to change. ✹

03/24/2026

Burnout đŸ€Ż doesn’t hit all at once

it builds while you keep telling yourself to push through.

You ignore it.
You normalize it.
You call it “success.”

But deep down
 you know.

You’ve outgrown it.

And the longer you stay,
the louder your body will speak. đŸ„ș

03/23/2026

You can feel it when it’s time. 🧳

The shift.
The restlessness.
The knowing that there’s more for you.

But most people ignore it

because leaving the familiar feels uncomfortable.

I didn’t.

And that’s when everything changed. ✹

You’re not meant to stay where you’ve outgrown.

This season of life can feel confusing
 đŸ«€
one minute you’re exhausted, the next you’re questioning everything—your body, your energy, even your identity.

But what if this isn’t your breakdown

what if it’s your awakening?

Perimenopause and menopause aren’t here to stop you—they’re here to redirect you.

To help you slow down, listen to your body, and step into a stronger, more aligned version of yourself.

I’m not slowing down
I’m evolving. And you can too. 😉

Wondering if you’re in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause?

Many women feel confused about what stage they’re actually in.

Here’s a simple way to understand the three phases of menopause:

🌾 Perimenopause – Hormones fluctuate for several years leading up to menopause. Symptoms may include irregular periods, hot flashes, and mood changes.

đŸ”„ Menopause – Begins after 12 months without a period, marking the end of menstrual cycles. Hot flashes, night sweats, and sleep issues are common.

🌿 Post-Menopause – The stage after menopause when hormones stabilize. Symptoms may improve, but bone and heart health remain important.

Understanding the stage you’re in can help guide the support your body needs.
