This year brought a lot of change for Bayside Therapy Specialists, and we’re so grateful for every family and therapist who has been part of the journey 🤍 We made the intentional decision to downsize from three locations to two so we can be a smaller but more powerful practice, with strong specialties, deeper impact, and an even better workplace for our therapists. As we head into 2026, our goal is to keep improving — for our clients, our team, and the families who trust us with their children. We’re currently serving Clearwater and New Port Richey and have immediate availability for speech therapy, feeding therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, and infant services. If you ever see someone asking for a speech or feeding therapist in a Facebook group or among friends, we’d be so thankful if you shared our name. Your support and referrals truly mean everything to us.

Bayside Therapy Specialists is launching a Nature-Based OT Division, and we’re looking for a passionate, out-of-the-box OT who comes alive outdoors and LOVES working with neurodivergent kids.

🚫 MYO MYTH BUSTER! 🚫

MYTH: "Myofunctional therapy only helps with tongue posture"
TRUTH: It impacts speech AND feeding!

SPEECH FIXES:
- Eliminates lisps from tongue thrust
- Improves /s/, /z/, /t/, /d/ sounds
- Increases speech clarity

FEEDING FIXES:
- Reduces messy eating/swallowing
- Stops food spillage from poor lip seal

🌟 FEEDING STAR OF JUNE! 🌟

Our amazing Bryson went from only eating pizza and chicken parm to trying apple, toast, oranges, eggs, and sausage since March! 🍕➡️🍎🍞🍊

Best part? He said he wants to work hard but doesn't want to be feeding star again because "other kids deserve a chance" 🥹💕

🎉 GRADUATION DAY! 🎉

We are SO proud of our superstar Peyton! 🌟 When she started with Ms. Ashley at Bayside Therapy Specialists last July, she was working hard on her speech clarity and only ate five foods.

Look at her now - she's mastered ALL her speech goals AND is eating five foods from each food group! 🗣️🍎🥕🍞🥛🍗
