In the life of a teacher, today was a day. I printed/submitted report card grades showing growth in math. For me, a 4th grade Math/Science teacher…teaching math students who were in K-1st during the pandemic crisis in education…it was big. They are showing growth…they are getting this❤️
Today was big. As much as I have supported their tryouts for soccer, cheerleading, football, basketball…and cheered their successes., proudly. Today was also a day I was able to share a glimpse of my life outside of school (because all teachers live at school, right?!). I was able to share with my 4th graders…who will also be my 5th graders, as I am staying with them through next year,…that something they didn’t know about my outside of school life would continue into our next year, at least in my outside of school life. None of them knew about Ms. Florida American Queen 2023 ( and they shouldn’t…I am their teacher), but as we celebrate successes together, I wanted to share mine with them.
This Friday, I will be honored to have some of the best people I know, my students,the students unknown to anything Ms. Florida American Queen 2023 ever was, and hello to Ms. American Queen 2024-2025.
