What would you do if your vision went dark and later that day you found out you had a brain tumor?

Lindsay Beinhauer, SVP of Provider Sales here at Apaly, had this exact scenario happen to her. Having a doctor in the family (aka her husband), Dr. Jerry Beinhauer, MD, reached out to his connections and quickly found a surgeon to remove the tumor.

Lindsay, thankfully, has celebrated 10 years tumor-free, but it made them both think, “What about people who don’t have a doctor in the family…what do they do?” Thus, Apaly was born so everyone can feel what it's like to have a doctor in the family!

Make sure to apply sunscreen this summer and don't forget your face, neck, toes, ears, and eyelids! Anywhere on your body exposed to the sun can develop melanoma, so make sure you are applying sunscreen all over.

When possible, opt for UV-blocking hats, clothes, and umbrellas to stay extra safe.
