Licensed in April of 2021, becoming a massage therapist was a dream of mine since I was in my 20's. I've work for 25+ years as a live retail tv fashion stylist, a career I love dearly. I had to pivot my career. Healing arts is my passion. The opportunity to go to massage school during a pandemic was right there waiting for me. The look for the earrings!

I went to the Indie Flea in St. Pete. It was "walking on the sun" hot. So I took a button shirt and styled it as a bando top, buttoning it to fit the top on my breast and then using the sleeves to create the bando. DYI'd jean shorts and my . The tote was a gift from a former colleague, shades . Oh yeah, top and shorts thifted.

Wearing neutrals and massage therapy clothing is making me want to dress up when I'm not working.

I'm starting to feel like myself.

I heard a voice tell me to create these earrings. I've been wearing neutrals for a long time now. I feel like color and patterns attract too much attention. I feel like as a light-skinned AA woman, we already attract, sometimes, unwanted attention. Which makes me uncomfortable at times. I want to wear color. So, I created these earrings. I'm going to wear them out tomorrow and see what happens.

Oh yeah, I created 2 more designs. I'll post them later. Chow✌🏾💛🩷

Born and raised in Tampa,Fl...I've always been the creative type. I went to fashion school and graduated from The International Academy of Design with a BA in Fashion Merchandising. Since graduating in 95, I have worked mainly as a fashion / visual stylist for the Home Shopping Network and other production companies in the area. As a fashion stylist for HSN, I have worked on so many high profile celebrity shows. Mary J. Blige, Giuliana Rancic, Queen Latifah, Serena Williams, Iman, Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, & Iris apfel..... just to name a few. I am so thankful to work in a creative world of television retail. Learning the business side and being involved in the creative side. I started making rings after I was layed off from my stylist job in 2002. I've made rings and other jewelry pieces over the years, worked at Nordstroms, also worked in a Disney call center....still making jewelry to support my family. Now back at HSN since 2008 , I'm still making rings and now my new favorite, earrings! Being a single mother of one, I have to juggle work, being mamma, and trying to run a small business.
