I’ve been busy, busy, BUSY crafting low cholesterol, no added salt, no oil, and no added sugar recipes! This journey started a while ago but after my mom’s recent health scare, I’m back determined to create dishes that not only support her health but can also help so many others. 🫶🏽
Drawing inspiration from my mom’s West Indian culture, I believe that food should be both nutritious and enjoyable. If you’re trying to change your diet but find it challenging, it might be because the meals don’t reflect your cultural roots. That’s why I’m focusing on recipes that bring joy and flavor to our tables! 🍽️
For example, instead of traditional rice cereal, I’ve whipped up a delicious brown rice porridge infused with the warm spice notes of Grenada, featuring some healthy substitutions. It’s all about making nutritious choices that feel like home!
