💙 Understanding Sensory Processing Differences 💙

According to the National Library of Medicine, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) involves difficulty detecting, interpreting, or responding to sensory input from the environment. Recognizing the signs can help you better understand when your child may be struggling.

✨ Common signs may include:
• Overreacting to sounds, lights, or textures
• Underreacting to pain, temperature, or noise
• Avoiding certain places, clothing, or activities
• Repetitive movements like rocking, spinning, or hand-flapping to self-regulate
• Difficulty with daily tasks such as dressing, brushing teeth, or eating

Every child experiences the world differently. Early recognition and support can make a meaningful difference in helping children feel comfortable, confident, and supported. 🌟

💙 Giving back to our community!

Last week, one of our amazing team members Hannah volunteered with The Junior League of Tampa to help host a free day at the Glazer Children’s Museum for local families and their children. 🌟

Events like this create opportunities for families and children to learn, play, and connect! We love seeing our team give back in meaningful ways.
