As caregivers ourselvs for our own parents, we have gained much insight into some of their concerns and fears they have experienced as they aged. Their main fears were being alone, fear of falling while being alone and no way of contacting anyone in the event of such an incident. My mother who lives in another city had such an experience…. She still drives to her Dr.’s appointments, groceries etc… However, one day, while getting out of her car, she became dizzy and lost her balance and fell in her front yard. She laid there for several hours until my sister who lives across the street, heard her calling for help. Everything turned out ok that time but what a close call...

We know many of you out there would love to have a live, real person checking in at least once a day. Just to make sure your ok, and/or to remind you to feed the cat, take your medicine, or any number of reminders that come up during a normal day. The children of elderly parents are aware of the benifits of frequent contact...even if the person is very active. With so many having to return to the workplace, this service can be a real blessing. 1 Launch RealPlayer
