This babe has an extremely stressful, WFH job with strict deadlines. She felt like she didn’t have any time for herself and struggled to follow through on her health & fitness routines, and frankly didn’t have the time to try and figure this all out herself. Its so easy to become shortsighted, 🤔 and not think about how your decisions now will affect you. But I promise you, they do! And you'll love yourself even more if you don't give up when it gets hard. 💪🏼

"I eat clean during the week but have a few cheat meals over the weekend…” 🧐

AKA… you decided you are going to lose weight, so you started “eating clean” and cut out all the “bad” foods BUT it didn’t last long.

By Friday, you’re so burnt out from restricting & overworking yourself, that you cave into your cravings. Before you know it you’ve ate an entire box of pizza, half a bag of chips and an entire bottle of wine. 🥴

Ashley knows this too well because she's been there. This cycle was her reality for almost 5 YEARS and prevented her from seeing any sort of progress in her body, despite working hard in the gym.

Not to mention the overwhelming amount of guilt, anxiety, and pressure to be perfect around food. 💔 She didn’t know what normal eating looked like and didn’t know how to properly nourish her body anymore.

And this is exactly what a poor relationship with food looks like. Food is demonized, certain foods are labeled as “good” or “bad”, food is used to cope with emotions, and you suddenly “aren’t allowed” to have certain foods because you’re on a diet.

We live by and teach our clients the 80/20 rule: 80% of your diet comes from whole foods and 20% from FUN foods that we enjoy and frankly, keeps us sane! 👏🏼

Two words: SIMPLE 👏🏼 BASICS 👏🏼

When it comes to sustainable weight loss, it can sometimes feel overwhelming or daunting to get everything done on your to-do list. 😅

Not to mention all of the information out there online, it can feel super confusing and leave you unsure of where to start.

But over here at Bangin' Body Blueprint, we are all about going back to the basics, baby! We aim to have our clients take small, bite sized + simple steps everyday. ✅ They're small enough to seem do-able, but effective enough to add up to BIG changes. 🔥

✅ Plateaus are COMPLETELY normal, and in fact, it's a survival mechanism. Your body loves to adapt and will do so fairly quickly for each time you change a workout routine or change your calorie intake.

Hitting a plateau basically means that your body is ready for something new and possibly something more difficult. 🔥 Our bodies are incredibly resilient and the more you test yourself, the more you'll find that you can accomplish more than you thought! 🙌🏼

5 Things No One Will Tell You (But You Need To Hear) About Weight Loss 👇🏼👇🏼

Let's be real: Staying consistent with your health & fitness journey can be HARD.

Before joining BBB, a lot of our clients felt like they were stuck in this endless cycle of doing good for a few weeks until they inevitably fall off and sometimes even quit.💔

It looks a lot like this:

👉🏼You set a new fitness goal (workout 5 times per week, lose 20lbs, etc). You're so excited to look good, feel good, and tell yourself this time will be different. YAY!

👉🏼You're going strong for a few weeks until BAM.... you hit a plateau. You're no longer making progress as fast as you were in the beginning and you feel frustrated.

👉🏼Determined to reach your goal, you switch it up & keep going. You start to see progress & feel good again.

👉🏼But then - something happens. Maybe there was a social event over the weekend, you went on a trip, work got super busy, or maybe you just felt burnt out. You completely fell off your nutrition & exercise routine. Ugh. 😭

👉🏼After some time off, you get a rush of motivation to get going again. So you make it a plan to start "fresh" on Monday. ✅

Anddd the cycle starts all over again. 😅🔄

But trust us, this is super common. Everyone experiences this at one point or another.

If you're stuck in this cycle right now, this is your reminder that you are definitely NOT a failure! 🤍 Falling off track doesn't mean you'll never achieve your weight loss goal. Life happens!

Remember, this is not an overnight journey. ❌ This is not a quick fix. There are no short cuts. Achieving your goals will require hard work, patience, and time... but it will be SO worth it. YOU are so worth it! 🙌🏼

But if there's one thing we've learned from coaching busy professionals, SAHMs, full time students and even women in active duty, it's this: It's never about HAVING the time⌚, it's about MAKING the time.

We know, it sounds cliche. But it's true! Here's how to MAKE the time to become your hottest, healthiest & happiest self:

PLAN AHEAD

With so much on your plate, it's important for you to think 2 steps ahead. 🤔 Figure out what can you prepare / plan out NOW to make your life EASIER in the future.

Whether it’s meal prepping your dinner the night before, creating a time block in your calendar for your workout, getting groceries delivered instead of going after work, lay out your workout clothes the night before 👕👖, or planning your workout for the next day.

SET E'S AND B'S

Set realistic Expectations! It’s great to have high standards, but it can kill your confidence if you don't hit them. 

If you only have 20 minutes to workout, that's okay! But be real with yourself and know what your schedule truly allows for.

In order to put yourself first, you'll need to set Boundaries. ✋ Whether that's with work, friends or family. It may feel uncomfortable at first but remember, you're WORTH it.

START MESSY

Remember, life is never going to slow down and there will never be a “perfect” time to start. 

Time is going to pass whether you're working on your goals or not, so you might as well just start, even if it's messy! 🤪
