Congratulations to Kaitlin P., BSN, RN, for being our Employee of the Month from our Sheldon, IA office, recognized for her clinical expertise, empathy, and flexibility in supporting the children and families she works with. She finds the most joy in building meaningful relationships and being present as children grow, develop new skills, and overcome challenges. Kaitlin embraces the variety each day brings, stepping into different roles to meet the unique needs of every family she serves.

Originally from the Sioux Falls, SD office, Kaitlin transferred to the Sheldon, IA office in May 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys attending her children’s activities and sporting events, reading, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and loved ones.

Anna joined Family First Homecare this past June and has quickly embraced the heart of what we do in helping clients and their families.
In her role at the Media, PA office, Anna looks forward to building close, meaningful relationships with nurses, clients, and her teammates in the office. She shares that since starting with FFHC, she’s learned just how deeply the organization impacts the lives of the families it serves. That realization has inspired her to continue growing professionally so she can always provide the highest quality of care and support.
Outside of work, Anna is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mom to two children, a son and a daughter. She loves traveling anywhere with a beach and cherishes spending time with her family.

Our Family First Homecare Government Affairs team is led by Jennifer Lang, who serves as the VP of Government Affairs. In the role of Director of Grassroots Advocacy & Government Affairs, Beth Albert works alongside Jen to support FFHC's efforts to address concerns from the local teams regarding Medicaid issues that impact patient care and nursing recruitment and retention. Together, they are committed to advocating for solutions that enhance the quality of care for our patients.

Meet our February Shining Star: Dawsyn!
Dawsyn has been a client with us for the past three years, and it has been such a joy watching her grow, overcome challenges, and shine. When asked what she & her family love most about her nurses, they shared: “My nurses love me and are always taking the best care of me. Sam likes to snuggle and hold me, and Beth likes to sing to me.”
Dawsyn enjoys reading books, going for walks, and surrounding herself with her favorite color purple! 💜 She especially loves all her cozy Warmie stuffed animals, which bring her comfort and smiles.
Over the past few years, Dawsyn has bravely gone through a couple surgeries. Each time, her nurses were right by her side, helping her recover, rebuild her strength, and return to where she was before surgery. They’ve also supported her through an important transition at school, cheering her on every step of the way.
Dawsyn, your resilience inspires us. Your sweet spirit melts our hearts. And the bond you share with your nurses is exactly what Family First is all about.
