Women can sometimes have a lot on their plate. Between families, children, marriage, dating, or work, it can be hard to communicate what you need to others when you sometimes don't even know what you need for yourself.
Beginning July 9th, join us for a 6 week Virtual Growing and Relational for Woman to help learn skills to explore your identity, needs, strengths, and relationships with others and yourself. Regardless of what phase of life you are in, come learn to appreciate all things “you," figure out how you can grow while giving yourself grace, develop community with other women, and just take the time to simply “be” with confidence. We will recognize many versions of ourselves including but not limited to – Self-Love, Self-Care, Self-Compassion, Self-Respect, Self-Awareness, and Self-Growth.
Sessions are $40 per session (no insurance accepted)
Sessions held virtually on Tuesdays 7-8pm beginning July 9th
SPACES ARE LIMITED and registration by July 1st is required!
Call or or email therapist Veronica Agyapomaa, LMSW for questions or to sign up!

When we think of diversity, we often forget about neurodiversity. Neurodiversity describes the wide range of neurological functioning that exists among humans and the many ways human brains differ from each other. 🧠
All types of brain functioning are valid and none is inherently better or worse than another. Sometimes, it only takes a bit more time and patience to understand certain types of thinking.
While not everyone who has symptoms of a neurodivergent disorder will seek therapy, those who do deserve to be understood by an affirming therapist who does not try treat their symptoms but wants to help them solve the challenges they face. If it's a couple, a teen, families, or individuals, the more easily someone is able to understand the way they think, the more easily they can express themselves, and the people that love them can better understand their perspective.
Both neurodivergent and neurotypical people are part of neurodiversity. It takes all of us and our unique skills and viewpoints to better understand and solve the complex problems the world faces.

Coping skills come in all kinds, and since it's #InternationalDanceDay, we wanted to share some stats with you about this groovy stress reliever:
💃 98% of participants in a research study reported dancing improved their mood and the capability to cope with stress.
🕺Research also shows that dancing improves your confidence and compassion for others.
🎵 Plus, listening to music releases levels of dopamine (the pleasure hormone) in your brain.
It doesn't matter if you're good at dancing or if you're dancing alone in your room with a hairbrush, turn up some of your favorite upbeat songs and get moving today!
