Hebrews 12:1–2 (NIV)
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

The year ahead is a race of faith—not a sprint, but a journey of endurance. Hebrews calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus, our King, who began our faith and will carry it through. When we focus on Him, we find strength to keep going.

Ask yourself: What might distract me this year? Choose to intentionally look to Jesus when life feels heavy or busy.

Prayer:
Lord, help me run this race with endurance. Keep my eyes fixed on You in every season. Amen.
