Welcome Home, Keshauna!

Please join us in welcoming back Keshauna Braswell, RN, our new Director of Nursing! 👏

With 19 years in long-term care, Keshauna’s journey began right here at Edgecombe Health Center as a brand-new CNA. Through dedication and hard work, she earned her LPN diploma, RN degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and advanced from Unit Manager to Assistant Director of Nursing — now returning home as our Director of Nursing!

An Edgecombe County native, she’s excited to serve our residents, families, and community once again. 💙

Thank you to Banner bears for their amazing contribution of a gift bag and a stuffed bear to all of our residents here at Edgecombe Health Center. Pictured is Ms. Linda and Ms. Von from Banner Bears and our Activity Director Gabby accepting the donations.

Banner Bears is a nonprofit ministry founded in 2021 with a mission to bring comfort, peace, and the hope of Jesus Christ to children and seniors facing trauma or difficult circumstances. What began as outreach to young children has since expanded to teens and now seniors, all driven by a desire to offer hope, compassion, and love within the community and beyond.
