Mayor Tate Mayo has officially proclaimed March 16–22, 2026, as Brain Awareness Week in the Town of Tarboro! 🧠💚

This week, we recognize the incredible efforts of the Pilot Club of Tarboro, part of Pilot International, for their dedication to promoting brain health, safety, and education in our community and beyond.

Through initiatives like BrainMinders and their Helmet Program, they continue to make a lasting impact by helping protect and educate citizens of all ages. Brain Awareness Week, in partnership with the Dana Foundation, encourages us all to learn more about brain health and support those working in this vital field.
