Wishing you and your loved ones a very peaceful, joyful holiday season.

As you know, my husband Steve and I are moving to St Thomas in a few weeks. You can follow our adventures on Master Plan Boat Adventures on FB. I hope to stay in contact with you.

For those who know me, you know that I spent many years as a happy enough single person. A friend told me the other day that she admired me for being “true to myself and never settled”. So I was as surprised as anyone when Steve and I met two and a half years ago. We started making plans to retire, got married, and spent last year boating down the ICW to Savannah before settling in Baltimore for the summer. In June we adopted Ruby from a Baltimore pound, who has been so much fun.

Timing is everything and it’s now or never for our new adventure.
We’re in the process of selling most of our stuff, including the condo. We purchased a 52 foot Hatteras that will be home indefinitely. We are changing her name to Master Plan.

This week I’m cleaning out my sewing studio. I definitely have mixed emotions about this but am confident that I’ll figure out how to quilt on the boat while enjoying the warm Caribbean breeze.

It’s a wrap. I am at capacity with my orders, and will not be accepting any new orders.
I wish my friends and new friends and clients have a very merry holiday season.

Next order of business will be closing my studio storing some stuff selling some stuff and shipping stuff to St. Thomas so I can continue some type of quilting projects on the island. I will need to come up with a new normal.🛥️☀️🛥️☀️🛥️☀️

It’s finished, it was really fun to make. This is one that can be passed down to the grandkids.

I hope this doesn’t ruin any surprises, but I got permission from Pops to post these pictures of the process.

I just found a fabric to frame the quilt, and it seems very appropriate to me, that I didn’t even know I had, it seems everything happens for a reason.

I’ll post the picture with the border once it’s attached.
