He used his own money to buy chickens. Some for eggs some for meat. He's raised them from 2 days old and 8 weeks later he's helping Daddy do the hard part of what he's looked forward to for weeks.
On the other hand, this one is living her best life, doing nothing, in the packaging department.

ISO a guinea!
Something got one of our guineas last week and the other one is lonely. We have plenty of chickens and turkeys but it's just staying to itself and needs a companion. We've been searching but not able to find one that's already grown. If you have any leads please let us know!!

This beautiful 3 year old girl needs a new home. We just don't have enough pasture for her. She is so cuddly and will follow a bucket of feed anywhere. She's a big girl but doesn't know it. She still hops across the pasture like a baby goat. She doesn't mind being milked by hand or machine and she's currently open. She's had one baby and it was HUGE. $1300 OBO

The Story behind the Name: Four by Grace

Three years of marriage and we heard a doctor say, "It is impossible for you to be parents." We never got a second opinion, we didn't need the first opinion. 😉 We simply needed God's guidance. For two years we prayed, seeking God's will. We had a tug in our hearts for adoption. That led us to licensing classes for foster/ adoption. Every class would begin with Bradley saying we will only adopt, not foster and Brittany would agree. Also every night on the way home from class Brittany would nudge his side and say "what if we fostered?" Each night would end with the same response from Bradley "We'll just pray about it."

The last class we decided to complete the paperwork that would license us as foster parents. What we didn't know was our son would be conceived during the time of those classes. Somewhere our there, there was a little boy who would soon need a home and God was preparing our hearts for him. God answered every specific prayer and in the fifth month of the following year we became a family of three by the grace of God. Our foster license expired and we were content with our beautiful family.

Two years later Brittany secretly began praying for the unknown. "God I am so thankful for our baby and I can't ask for anything more. I don't want to be selfish and ask for another one but God I sure don't want to be complacent either if there are children that need a home. God just have your own way in our lives." This prayer many months later would be met by a surprise phone call saying there had been a biological sibling to our son born who needed a forever home.

A beautiful baby girl will soon, legally, join the family but already in our hearts we are a family of FOUR BY the GRACE of God.
