سوگ‌نامه‌ای برای بهرام بیضایی

بهرام بیضایی فقط یک نام نیست؛
اقلیمی‌ست که در آن زبان، تاریخ، اسطوره و وجدان با هم نفس می‌کشند.
او به ما آموخت چگونه با کلمه بایستیم،
چگونه با روایت، حقیقت را از زیر آوار فراموشی بیرون بکشیم،
و چگونه در زمانه‌ی سکوت، صدا باشیم.

بیضایی، حافظه‌ی بیدار ماست؛
آن‌جا که تئاتر پناه می‌شود،
و سینما شهادت می‌دهد.
او از اسطوره، آینه ساخت
و از تاریخ، پرسش—
پرسشی که هنوز از ما پاسخ می‌خواهد.

اگر روزی چراغ حضورش کم‌سو شود،
آن‌چه می‌ماند خاموشی نیست؛

It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my patient, colleague, and dear friend, John Grywalski.

John was not only a decorated war veteran and an exceptional leader, but a man of integrity, strength, and quiet humility. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for him as a physician and knowing him as a friend. Those roles often blurred, as they do when someone’s character leaves a lasting impression far beyond the exam room.

John served HRH with distinction for more than twelve years, including as Chief Financial Officer and later as Executive Vice President and Special Advisor to the Chairman and CEO. His dedication, wisdom, and unwavering sense of duty shaped the organization in ways that will endure.

What I will remember most, however, is John the man—thoughtful, resilient, deeply loyal, and always putting others before himself. He carried his service to country into every aspect of his life.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, loved ones, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be profoundly missed.

May his memory be a blessing.
