Names Tell Stories

Bill Johnson once told a story of when he was ill and in the hospital about how he kept a binder with him. He took it everywhere he went. It was a book filled with words he had received over years. He would encourage himself with these truths-these promises. It got us thinking 🤔 💭 What if we made a journal/book for our generations, our legacy? and even for ourselves where we recorded and documented the words Yahweh gives to us whether through our personal time or through others. Where we could always go back and remind ourselves of who we are and who He is and His goodness in us. Better yet, to have the cover of this journal/book be inscribed with our, or our legacy’s, Hebraic name on it.

Unlike the English alphabet, each Hebrew letter has its own unique definition. So, when a name is put together with Hebrew lettering, the name has more than a definition - the name tells a story What about the story of the “African Birth Song” where a mother would sing a song over the child-an identity-throughout pregnancy and if a family/tribe member went wayward later on in life how that person was brought to the center of the village and the village sang their song over them? Words are powerful energy and we’ve experienced so much over the last couple of years concerning words and promises spoken to us that we wanted to create something for our legacy to carry on with them.
