This method is for Every Body!

Clifford and I teach to individual concerns and restrictions. We have beginners and new students in classes, which are hybrid - taught on Zoom) along with our Members who have been practicing for with us for many years.

We recommend that you choose the time/class that suits you and your schedule and we will accommodate and modify postures as we observe you on the mat.

We provide all equipment in the studio - mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, sandbags and blankets. If you are practicing at home, set yourselves up with your mat lengthways out from a wall with either bed or couch pillows, a book for a block and maybe a tea towel for a strap.

The poses are not complex and we encourage students to work at their own level as they learn to listen to the communication of their bodies rather than trying to 'achieve' or 'enforce' a shape. It is about functionality and harmony considering personal history of injuries, trauma or genetics.

In the Kaiut Yoga Method, the practice is structured to regulate the nervous system, lymphatic and circulatory systems and to promote the reorganization and bio-mechanical optimization of the body and all of its functions which will often lead to a state of spontaneous presence and meditation. This is how students build more health.

To access all the benefits you need only to begin and with consistency and regularity, making yoga a part of your daily routine, it will provide a more functional body, reduced stress, better concentration and less anxiety.

This will be the second class that Yvonne will ne presenting at the Telluride Yoga Festival

WORKING WITH THE 3 GIRDLES; plantar, pelvic and shoulder girdle. This is the basis of Francisco Kaiut's work.

To have the 3 Girdles working together bio-mechanically and interacting with gravity, will help the forces move through the system to create a domino effect everywhere.

The Plantar Girdle is the very important; it is feet, feet soles and ankles. The feet unleash tremendous mobility across the system.

The Shoulder Girdle is hands, arms, shoulders, and shoulder blades. It has a deep influence in the upper thoracic spine and our neck and head. We have to be very mindful, kind and gentle, all the time with this area of our body that has deep connections with our emotional world and our nervous systems.

The Pelvic Girdle is one of the most underused areas of our body.
We have been becoming a 'sitting society' and that changes everything in our biomechanics. Our hips have been designed by nature to move a lot and to be highly adaptable and once we introduce the movement it can be kind of shocking; we identify with the rigidity that does not belong to our system.

Kaiut Yoga is yoga for bio-mechanical health and every body is welcome. The lack of complexity allows the student to find, identify, acknowledge and dissolve restrictions and rigidity.
We will be utilizing the wall and the floor to deeply stimulate the circulation, lymphatic system and nervous system. The floor helps to reshape and break down rigidity in the spine. From this safe place, we will be working with the plantar and shoulder girdle using bolsters, straps and blocks.
It is soothing and calming as it works with our unique energetic matrix. Come and experience the benefits that KAIUT YOGA will create in the mind, body and soul.

My path to Kaiut Yoga

Yvonne Mosser, is the owner & teacher of Kaiut Yoga Telluride, in Colorado. It was the first Kaiut Yoga studio to open in North America on November, 2017. We offer many classes a week taught by Yvonne Mosser, KYM1000 and her son, Cliff Mosser, KYM400. This is truly yoga for every type - ‘YOGA PRA TODO MUNDO’ and all are welcome. Each class is one hour and all equipment is provided. Memberships, as well as class passes are available. All classes are now offered online.

Yvonne has a history of being interested in yoga and alternative health modalities; she was a certified Swedish massage therapist with training in Trager, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Reiki. This was her occupation since moving to Telluride from England in 1981.

Yvonne taught Iyengar Yoga in the ‘ 80s and has a 500hr Yoga Alliance Certification with Nancy Stechert, Senior Iyengar teacher/owner of Yoga Tree Hotchkiss. It was there that she was introduced to Francisco Kaiut, the founder and creator of the Kaiut Yoga Method in 2009. Yvonne attended Francisco’s very first teacher training in 2011 after attending several of his workshops. She immediately realised the profound healing qualities gained by this method. She taught at the Telluride Yoga Center for 5 years before opening her own studio.

In May, 2015, Yvonne studied for a month in Brazil with Francisco at his founding school, Kaiut Yoga Batel,, Curitiba. Yvonne became a Level One teacher (KYM300) February, 2017. She presently has KYM1000. She has hosted several Workshops at her studio including ‘Becoming a Better Student’ and ‘Living the Method’ as well as four Teacher Trainings.
