A powerful new immersive exhibit honoring the resilience and stories of Latino workers in San Miguel County that was created with love and grace by those whose voices are often unheard.

Telluride Arts HQ is hosting a New Immersive Exhibit, "The Things We Carry–Las Cosas Que Llevamos". This exhibit transforms the labors of our community members into a living archive of resilience and hope.

This exhibit asks the community to "Look what we built together" by engaging directly with the tools, words, and stories of labor. "This is an act of collective healing and truth-telling, aiming to spark community empowerment and amplify voices that are too often silenced." Tabassum Siddiqui, Policy and Multicultural Advocacy Manager at TCHNetwork.

The exhibit is open to the public and free to everyone from now through the 2nd of January (Thanksgiving week by appointment only) at the Telluride Arts HQ, 135 W. Pacific Ave in Telluride.

We are honored to introduce our Community Organizer, Claudia Gamez, who courageously shared her personal story as part of a powerful new exhibit at Telluride Arts HQ, located at 135 W. Pacific Ave.

This immersive installation, “The Things We Carry – Las Cosas Que Llevamos,” transforms the lived experiences and labor of community members into a poignant archive of resilience, strength, and hope.

“This is an act of collective healing and truth-telling, aiming to spark community empowerment and amplify voices that are too often silenced,” shared Tabassum Siddiqui, Policy and Multicultural Advocacy Manager at TCHNetwork.
